What to expect when you visit us

• A warm friendly greeting by our door greeters.  They can assist you with directions to your destination. Church map if this link does not work, please check your permissions for pop-up windows.

• Fellowship over coffee and donuts as a church family from 9:00-9:30am in the Narthex.

• A professionally staffed nursery for infants and toddlers through the age of 3.  Children’s Church is offered for children ages 4 through 5th Grade in Room 117 after Story Box Time in the worship service.

What is Children’s Church:
At the conclusion of the Story Box (children's message) in Contemporary Worship and the Agape Greeting in Traditional Worship, parents may choose to send their children to met with an adult leader and be escorted to Room 117.  At the conclusion of Children's Church (10:30am) parents may pick up their children at the door of Room 117.  Children will not be released until a responsible adult is available to sign for the child.

• Choice of Worship style:  Choose Traditional or Contemporary Worship in a comfortable atmosphere that is warm and welcoming.  Persons come attired in a variety from casual or suits to their work clothes.

At Mountain View Presbyterian Church, we have adopted a unique approach to have two worship styles, and yet maintain a unified church body.  We have Parallel Services: Traditional in the West Sanctuary and Contemporary in the East Sanctuary.  Prior to the services, we meet as one for fellowship and a blessing; after the services, we study as one in Sunday School.  The first Sunday of every month we join together in a combined service and share in the Lord’s Table according to our faith.

• An Invitation to deepen your journey of faith through study.  We have Sunday School classes for all ages; as well as Mid-week programs and special classes to enrich and encourage your spiritual growth. We welcome anyone wanting to learn more about our church to attend the New Member Classes that are held several times a year.
