A Tradition of Decency and Order

Traditional Worship at Mountain View celebrates a style of worship that has provided hope and comfort throughout the generations.  Mountain View has gone to great lengths to create a service of the Word based not only upon the essential tenants of worship, but also the forms of worship associated with our tradition.

The worship service include the use of hymns, choral anthems, liturgical prayers and worship elements, Scripture readings, and strong biblical preaching.  By using these elements and others (including the gloria patri, the doxology and the Lord's prayer)  Mountain View seeks to remain faithful to those who have worshipped before us by honoring the traditions that have been passed down.  This service reflects the decency and order best associated with the Reformed Tradition as it has been celebrated throughout the years.  We invite you to join us as we continue to honor our Covenant with the Past and maintain a Commitment to the Future by upholding a strong witness to a Reformed Traditional worship service.
